An ecological reflection - Part II

The L-Lamella^® is learned from nature, it makes use of the laws of nature, in this case the law of current. Let’s have a look at nature, let’s watch a running river. A big stone rises above the water, behind it in flow direction, a piece of wood is already floating and turning for hours. It isn’t swept along with the flowing water because it was drawn in the sheltered zone of the stone. The faster the water is flowing, the stronger the vortex, the suction behind the stone. Fishes also use this stone to have a rest behind it and of course it is also a good place to find food since it is almost drawn into the mouth there.

How has this knowledge of nature been put into the L-Lamella?

Known separators have about 50 % open and 50 % closed surface, but the
L-Lamella^® only has 18 % open and therefore 82 % closed surface.

So right from the outset, far less dust is rejected outside before it is sucked in. At the same time, air speed in the area of the L increases considerably which produces even better results in the L-Lamella^®.

All that sounds quite complicated, but actually it is a very simple process which we have adopted from nature when we constructed the L-Lamella for you and combined it with our DELPHIN to a perfect cleaning result.
