DELPHIN - very close to 100 %

Time does not stand still and engineers of PROAIR GmbH constantly work on progress of the DELPHIN appliances and the applied technique.

Today, one can measure progress very exactly with highly sensitive laser metrology. The TÜV (= German technical inspection association) is equipped with this great technology and had the task to examine the dust retention of the current DELPHIN appliance.

Tests have been made according to DIN 60312, section 2.10: 2001, with DIN test dust and in the same way with house dust that was passed through a sieve (this house dust was taken from between the paper layers and was sieved so that only the finest and most dangerous dust out of dust bags was used).

The DELPHIN appliance was tested with conventional tap water and the L‑Lamella^®, devoid of all additives and HEPA or other filters.

The result is convincing:
Dust retention of DIN test dust                         99.9972 %

Dust retention of house dust                       99.9991 %

To make that clear, we would like to point out that the air that was sucked in was polluted with 550 mg/m³ of house dust according to the DIN standard instructions. When running on maximum power, only 0,0050 mg/m³, thus merely 5 millionth of a gramme per cubic metre of the air in the room could be proved in the outgoing air of the DELPHIN appliance.

Only the DELPHIN has got the L-Lamella^® and such a good result, that is world class. We don’t know any appliance with water filter at the market that achieves such excellent results without filter.
