PHOTOVOLTAIC SOLAR POWER PLANT

PROAIR GmbH Gerätebau, known for the environmentally friendly DELPHIN fine dust vacuum cleaner with water filter, produces more electrical energy by a newly installed photovoltaic solar power plant than it actually consumes.

With a capacity of 135 kWp, one of the largest photovoltaic solar power plants in the district was installed on the roof of PROAIR. The installation on the roof turned out to be very complicated due to the new type of aluminium racks. Thanks to this construction, the best possible alignment of the modules and thus the best light efficiency could be achieved.

The whole electrical energy is

fed into the net of the ENBW.

With the produced energy, the yearly consumption of PROAIR could be covered and in addition, further 16 houses with 160 m² and more than 3 occupants could be supplied with electricity.

The complete planning and realization as well as the whole installation is homemade. Electrical connections have been made by Metzger & Hirsch. So, the planned investment of about 570,000 € could be kept in the limit of the estimate.

The following parts were required:

850 solar elements

c. 2.8 km aluminium sections

2,000 tapered metal sheet attachments

c. 2,100 mounting brackets

c. 12,000 screws made of stainless steel

6,000 m cable lead to 24 inverters, these transform the electrical energy so that it can be fed into the own 250 kVA transformer station.

The new project

Our positive experiences and the commitment of our employees inspired us to start the next object with c. 195 kWp and a planned investment of about 822,000 €. Further 1,152 solar elements will be installed. Everything is prepared so that this installation can go on line at the end of May.

With 330 kWp altogether, PROAIR could rank among the largest PV power supplier in the district of Ravensburg.
